Product Overview
EVGA X17 is a premium wired gaming mouse in a right-handed, ergonomic form factor. It packs 10 buttons in an attractive chassis. It also comes with 25 grams of additional weights that allows the user to fine-tune the mouse's weight and weight distribution.
The calling card of the EVGA X17 is its three-sensor setup similar to that found in the wireless X20: Besides a main optical sensor, two loft-off distance (LOD) sensors allow the mouse to closely monitor mouse lift-offs and to provide jitter-free tracking during quick movements. The difference is that a more powerful PixArt 3389 main sensor is used in this wired version.
Another key feature of the X17 is the 8k Hz report rate, which Razer was proud to introduce earlier in 2021. This is 8x the report rate of standard gaming mice, providing a competitive edge to professional gamers and enthusiasts who demand the best.

Reviewer score 30%The EVGA X17 is satisfactory for office and multimedia work, but it isn't intended for this use. It feels well-built and has a comfortable right-handed shape suitable for all grip types and most hand sizes. Unfortunately, it's heavy even without its added weights, and its braided cable isn't very flexible. The sensor on our model is also fairly inconsistent and undershoots the set CPI considerably during faster movements.
