Product Overview
Oppo Find X3 Pro is a flagship dual-5G smartphone for 2021. It features many of the latest smartphone techs, including a gorgeous QHD+ OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 92.7% screen to body ratio.
However, compared to its predecessor, the Find X3 Pro misses a premium feature: it is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 rather than Gorilla Glass 6 + ceramic or leather. Its display also uses a more common 20:9 aspect ratio, leading to a minor reduction in screen to body ratio.
Beyond this, the Find X3 Pro comes with a range of upgrades: On the battery front, it not only uses a larger 4500mAh battery but also supports, for the first time, fast wireless charging at 30W to complement the SuperVOOC 2.0 65W wired fast charging. Its Snapdragon 888 chipset is the flagship Android chip this year, too.
The main camera setup of the Find X3 Pro also includes an upgrade: Its dual Sony-source primary sensors are now Sony IMX766 50MP units. However, the periscope telephoto camera is gone, leaving a traditional 13MP unit in its place. Lastly, there is a new 3MP microscopic lens with 60x magnification.
Alongside the Pro, Oppo also introduced the standard Find X3 as well as Neo and Lite versions.

androidauthority[1]
Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo's 2021 flagship didn't come cheap at launch, retailing for a rather pricey €1,149 at first. The phone has been on sale for €100 to €200 cheaper on the likes of Amazon, but it's still evidently priced as a premium flagship. Fortunately, it still brings plenty of premium extras, such as fast wired/wireless charging, a top-notch OLED screen, and a unique, water-resistant design.
Pros
- Top-notch OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate
- Unique, water-resistant design
- Fantastic 120Hz display
Cons
- No telephoto camera
- No periscope camera
digitaltrends[2]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Oppo Find X3 Pro has been announced for the U.K. where it starts at 1,099 British pounds, or about $1,527. It has a 13-megapixel telephoto camera with a 5x hybrid zoom and a 20x digital zoom, plus an unusual 3MP Micro lens to take “microscope” photos at 60x zoom. Oppo's ColorOS user interface, version 11.2 built over Android 11 here, is onboard.
Pros
- Beautiful 120Hz display
- Fast SuperVOOC charging
- Great battery life
Cons
- No 10-bit color mode
- Camera app frustrates
laptopmag[3]
Reviewer score 87% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Oppo Find X3 Pro has a 50MP camera on the rear and a 3MP microlens on the front. The rear camera can shoot up to 4K at 60fps, while the front supports up to 1080p at 30fps. There's a nifty pro film mode that lets users get down to the nitty-gritty technical features of recording videos. Oppo's ColorOS 11.2 works like a dream but the software support does not.
Pros
- Gorgeous display
- Fantastic cameras
- Excellent battery life
Cons
- No wireless charging
- No headphone jack
nextpit[4]
Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo's Find X3 Pro offers a 10-bit workflow that begins with the sensor and ends on the desktop display. The result is images that can theoretically contain up to over a billion colors instead of 16.8 million. The camera was a very performer overall and I was thrilled with the results 95% of the time.
Pros
- 120 Hertz AMOLED display with 120 Hertz refresh rate
- SuperVOOC fast charging
- Good battery life
Cons
- No wireless charging
- No telephoto camera
notebookcheck[5]
Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Oppo Find X3 Pro is equipped with a cutting-edge Snapdragon 888 with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The integrated Adreno 660 takes care of graphics processing. The touchscreen's high touch latency ensures quick input implementation. The two speakers deliver a decent sound output but lack dynamic range.
Pros
- Bright 120 Hz display
- Fast Wi-Fi
- Long battery life
Cons
- No microSD card slot
- No telephoto lens
t3[6]
Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Oppo Find X3 Pro is one of the fastest smartphones in the business. Carries a Snapdragon 888 processor from Qualcomm – the top CPU for Android phones this year. Up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (you can't expand that with a memory card, but then again you probably won't need to) Battery life is good as well, and charging speeds are excellent.
Pros
- Gorgeous 120Hz display
- Top-notch camera
- 5G and IP68 waterproofing
Cons
- Pricey for a mid-range phone
techadvisor[7]
Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Find X3 Pro ships with Android 11 and Oppo's own ColorOS 11.2. After a rocky start, ColorOS has become one of the best Android skins available. Swing around to the front and you're presented with a 32Mp, f/2.4 selfie camera. This, too, delivers excellent results in good lighting but struggles more in dimmer conditions.
Pros
- Top-tier camera
- Excellent battery life
- Excellent performance
Cons
- No microlens
- No IP rating
techradar[8]
Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Oppo Find X3 Pro has the best processor available to Android phones as of its release. You're getting 12GB of RAM with the phone as well as 256GB of storage. The Dolby-tuned stereo loudspeakers on the phone sound above average. Oppo brings enough new features to make ColorOS a great take on Android.
Pros
- Fast performance
- Great battery life
- Great camera
Cons
- No wireless charging
- No expandable storage
theverge[9]
Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo's Find X3 Pro is an excellent device on merit, and further cements Oppo as a company worth paying attention to. There's a 13-megapixel 2x telephoto camera, which doesn't match the other cameras' performance. Oppo chose to allocate a large section of the camera bump to a bizarre microscope tool.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Excellent battery life
- Excellent cameras
Cons
- No wireless charging
tomsguide[10]
Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo's Find X3 Pro is one of the fastest charging phones around. It uses Oppo's 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 and a dual-cell battery design. ColorOS 11.2 retains the best bits of Android 11 and lightly adds to it, while streamlining the UI.
Pros
- Fantastic performance
- Great battery life
- Fast charging
Cons
- No wireless charging
- No headphone jack
trustedreviews[11]
Reviewer score 90% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo Find X3 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip. It has 12GB of RAM and can handle any app or game at any setting. The camera can capture 4K HDR footage at 10-bit colour. It doesn’t feel quite as innovative as the Find X2 Pro, with things like the leather back and ditched zoom.
Pros
- Fantastic performance
- Great battery life
- Fast charging
Cons
- Tinny vibration
- No wireless charging
