Product Overview
Oppo Find X2 Neo is a premium dual-5G smartphone based on the Find X2 unveiled earlier in 2020. It features a smaller 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display that refreshes at 90Hz as well as simple Gorilla Glass 5 casing.
The main difference between the Find X2 Neo and the standard model can be found in its chipset, which is a notable downgrade. Nevertheless, the Find X2 Neo retains 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, though the latter is again downgraded to UFS 2.1. The Neo also offers only WiFi 5.
Another obvious difference is the four-lens rear camera setup: Its ultra-wide camera is weaker, but a separate depth / bokeh lens is added. The video recording capabilities of the Find X2 Neo is also more limited, though 4K 30fps and FHD 60fps are likely sufficient for most users.
Like other smartphones in the Find X2 series, the Find X2 Neo supports dual 5G network connectivity. It also retains an under-display optical fingerprint sensor.
Lastly the Find X2 Neo offers VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging that allows the user to charge the phone's battery to 50% in 20 minutes.

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo Find X2 Neo has a 5x hybrid zoom and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The image stabilisation is very impressive and can be adjusted accordingly. However, the high megapixel number of the main sensor seems to stand in the way. The vibration motor is a stumbling block for a smartphone of this stature.
Pros
- SuperVOOC technology
- Good battery life
- Fast charging
Cons
- No microSD card slot
- Vibrant camera
- No Wi-Fi 6
notebookcheck[2]
Reviewer score 61% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Find X2 Neo comes with a modular 30-watt power supply, a USB cable, headphones and a silicone protective cover. The 6.5 inch OLED panel of the Oppo mobile phone has a pixel density of a good 400 ppi with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 765G, in combination with 12 GB of RAM, ensures smooth operation in everyday life.
Pros
- Fast Snapdragon 765G
- Good battery life
- Fast SoC
Cons
- No IP certification
- No IP rating
- No wireless charging

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo Find X2 Neo is available now, up for grabs in the UK from retailers like Amazon, Carphone Warehouse, Currys PC World and John Lewis & Partners, with an RRP of £599. While it's technically a premium mid-ranger, you'd be forgiven for thinking the Neo is a true flagship-class handset after handling one for a short time. The design, fit and finish are all top-shelf, not to mention performance is impressively capable.
Pros
- Superb performance
- Superb battery life
- 30W fast charging
Cons
- Mediocre cameras
- No IP rating

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)‘Dazzle Color’ mode is effective at introducing more saturation and contrast, particularly on grey days, but is too much for everyday use. The main sensor defaults to 12MP images, but 48MP capture can be forced. Photos taken from the telephoto lens at 2x zoom are crisp in detail if a little noisy and are a definite improvement over any 2x crop. Low-light performance proved to be a positive picture also.
Pros
- Excellent battery life
- Fast performance
- Excellent cameras
Cons
- No IP rating
- No IP certification

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Oppo Find X2 Neo is a very good phone with a remarkably skinny design and a fluid AMOLED display. It's the third consecutive Oppo phone running ColorOS 7 that we've used now, which means we’ve grown rather accustomed to this strain of custom Android 10 UI. With all of its efforts, meanwhile, Oppo hasn’t been able to flex its muscles around this time around.
Pros
- Fantastic 90Hz AMOLED display
- Good battery life
- Decent cameras
Cons
- Unreliable software
- No wireless charging
