Product Overview

MSI WS66 10T is a powerful 15.6-inch mobile workstation based on the all-metal chassis of the Creator 15 A10S unveiled earlier in 2020. It is powered by up to 10th-gen Intel Core i9 Comet Lake CPU and NVIDIA Quadro RTX graphics up to RTX 5000 with 16GB of graphics memory.
As it is the case with the Creator 15, the WS66 10T can be optioned with either a FHD display with 100% sRGB coverage or a 4K UHD one with 100% Adobe RGB coverage. WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and Thunderbolt 3 all come as standard.
Another strong feature of the WS66 10T is its 99.9Wh battery that offers some of the longest battery life in its class.
Alongside the WS66, MSI also introduced the WS75 that is based on the Creator 17 as well as a more affordable mobile workstation, the WF66.

  • Excellent performance
  • Long battery life
Cons
  • No IR camera

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The WS66 is both thicker and heavier than the older WS63 due to the gen-to-gen improvements to chassis rigidity and thermals. Key layout and feedback are identical to the GS66 for better or worse but with different font styles and secondary functions. The wide Precision clickpad (14 x 6.5 cm) is smooth with only a little sticking when gliding at slow speeds.
Pros
  • Slim and light
  • High-contrast IPS display
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Lackluster CPU performance
  • Slow SD card reader
