Product Overview

The 2021 Gigabyte AORUS 17X YD is a flagship 17.3-inch gaming laptop. It packs significant improvements over its 2020 predecessor, chiefly the 11th-gen Intel Core i9-11980HK CPU and NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU with 16GB GDDR6.
Thanks to NVIDIA's new Ampere architecture, the RTX 3080 is significantly more powerful and efficient than the previous model. As a result, the new AORUS 17X YD only needs a single 330W power supply.
The calling card of the AORUS 17X is the full-size mechanical keyboard with per-key RGB lighting, 2.5mm key travel, and N-key rollover. The laptop also improves upon the previous WINDFORCE Infinity Cooling System. The same 300Hz IPS display is also carried over.
Naturally, the AORUS 17X YD also supports Thunderbolt 4 and PCI Express Gen4.
Alongside the AORUS 17X, Gigabyte also refreshed other models in its premium laptop lineup with Tiger Lake processors in May 2021.
