Bowers & Wilkins Formation Bass

Product Overview
Bowers & Wilkins Formation Bass is a premium wireless subwoofer designed to work in concert with other speakers in B&W's new Formation series. It packs two 165mm long-throw cones to extend the system's combined frequency response to 20Hz.
Designed as a wireless subwoofer primarily, the Formation Bass does not have line-in or speaker-level in connections found in conventional subwoofers. Instead, it is best ran in a mesh WiFi network, perhaps streaming from the Formation Audio in the series.
The Formation Bass supports B&W's proprietary WiFi mesh system that uses 2.4GHz for streaming from the source and 5GHz among Formation devices: this allows for ultra-low latency when paired with other speakers or the Audio streamer in the Formation range.
Other models in the Formation series include the Duo (stereo speakers), Wedge (stand-alone speaker), Bar (soundbar), Audio (wireless streamer), and Flex (compact speaker).
