Bowers & Wilkins ASW608 is the least powerful subwoofer in the 7th iteration of B&W's 600-series loudspeakers. It uses a single 200mm long-throw paper-Aramid cone driver in a closed box construction.
The ASW608 uses an efficient 200W digital Class D amplifier. It has two input choices, with speaker-level in being usually the preferred option for most users. With the ASW608, however, the user can benefit from adjustable low-pass frequency when using line-in but not with speaker-level input.
Essentially, the ASW608 has the same features and characteristics as the ASW610 but with a smaller, 8-inch driver.
This generation of B&W's 600-series loudspeakers also include a floorstander (603 S2), two bookshelf speakers (606 S2 and 607 S2), a center channel (HTM6 S2), and two larger matching subwoofers.
