Bowers & Wilkins ASW610XP is the more powerful of two 10-inch subwoofers in the 7th iteration of B&W's 600-series loudspeakers. It uses a single 250mm long-throw paper-Aramid cone driver in a closed box construction.
The ASW610XP has two input choices, with speaker-level in being usually the preferred option for most users. With the ASW610XP, however, the user can benefit from adjustable low-pass frequency when using line-in but not with speaker-level input.
There are three levels of bass extension available, with A mode delivering a frequency response between 25Hz and 40 to 140Hz (adjustable). There is also a single 12v trigger connection for power control via the preamplifier.
This generation of B&W's 600-series loudspeakers also include a floorstander (603 S2), two bookshelf speakers (606 S2 and 607 S2), a center channel (HTM6 S2), and two smaller matching subwoofers.
