Bowers & Wilkins HTM6 S2 Anniversary Edition is the lone center channel loudspeaker in the 7th iteration of B&W's 600-series loudspeakers. Unlike many center channel speakers that adopt a closed design, the HTM6 S2 uses a 2-way, bass-reflex construction with B&W's signature Flowport design.
Like other loudspeakers in this generation, the HTM6 S2 uses a decoupled 1" aluminum dome tweeter found in all non-diamond Bowers & Wilkins speakers as well as dual Continuum midrange drivers. Continuum was first introduced in B&W's 800 Diamond series: It is a refinement over the yellow Kevlar cone. The HTM6 S2 Anniversary Edition is the only model in this series to include two such drivers.
This generation of B&W's 600-series loudspeakers also include a floorstander (603 S2), two bookshelf speakers (606 S2 and 607 S2), and matching subwoofers. They target the home entertainment market, though many budget-conscious HiFi enthusiasts may also find them interesting for stereo use.
