Product Overview

Lenovo ThinkStation P720 is a powerful ATX workstation powered by two Intel Xeon Scalable family CPUs with 24 cores each as well as up to two NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000 or four RTX 4000 professional GPUs with NVLink.

I/O-wise, the ThinkStation P720 Tower offers a rich set of options similar to that of P620, though the P620, thanks to AMD's early support, offers faster PCIe Gen4 and USB 3.2 Gen2 ports. The long list of P720's configurable storage and GPU options are similar to that of P620.

Inside, the ThinkStation P720 Tower can be configured with up to 768GB, 12-channel ECC memory as well as up to 9 M.2 PCIe SSDs and six 3.5" HDDs.

Besides the P720, Lenovo also markets a full range of workstations in this generation, from the ultra-compact P340 Tiny to the range-topping P920.
