MSI MPG Trident A 11th is a compact desktop gaming computer powered by 11th-gen Intel Core CPUs up to i7-11700 and NVIDIA's RTX 30 series graphics up to RTX 3070. It is identically-designed to its 10th-gen predecessor.
Compared to the MPG Trident 3 11th, the Trident A doubles in case volume, though the difference is primarily in the depth of the rig. It also supports PCIe Gen 4 SSDs. Structurally, it has an internal power supply unit and runs a three-fan GPU.
While the i7-11700 is not the flagship chip in the Rocket Lake lineup, it offers competitive performance to even the i9 unit this year. The GeForce RTX 30 series GPU based on NVIDIA's Ampere architecture offers a significant bump in performance over its predecessor while being more efficient.
Other features of the Trident A 11th include WiFi 6E and USB-C 3.2.
For those who desire more power in a similar form factor, MSI also markets the slightly larger MPG Trident AS as well as MEG Trident X 11th.
