Gigabyte AORUS Model X Intel is a powerful ATX desktop gaming computer powered by Intel's Core i9-11900K CPU and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 graphics. Compared to its AMD-powered sister, the Model X with Intel offers upgraded USB support, faster ethernet connections and memory clock, and upgraded wireless connectivity.
Intel's Core i9-11900K, while less potent than AMD's 5900X, is accompanied by a richer set of features in the AORUS Model X: USB 3.2 Gen2x2 is available on both the rear and the front I/O panels. All other USB ports are upgraded to USB 3.2 Gen2 as well.
In terms of connectivity, Gigabyte has upgraded the Intel-powered Model X with WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and 10Gbps + 2.5Gbps dual LAN connections. Evidently, it is positioning this model to be half a step above the AMD-powered model, which could in turn be a better buy.
NVIDIA's RTX 3080 graphics offers the best performance per buck in the series for today's games. Based on the all-new Ampere architecture, it is significantly more powerful and efficient than the RTX 20 series.
Another key feature of the Model X is the inclusion of an ESS Sabre ES9118 reference DAC. It gives gamers a more immersive experience and is a great feature for entertainment.
