Gigabyte AORUS Model S Intel Gaming Desktop (2021)

Gigabyte AORUS Model S Intel is a small form factor desktop gaming computer powered by Intel's 11th-gen Rocket Lake Core i9-11900K and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 graphics. Within its elegant case, the Model S also packs 32GB of DDR4 4000MHz (XMP) memory and a unique air flow design that somewhat resembles the old Mac Pro.

Compared to its AMD-powered sister, the Model S with Intel offers more USB ports, including a unique USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port; its Bluetooth is upgraded to 5.1, and its memory runs at 4000MHz.

The downside is the performance of the i9-11900K CPU, which has only 8 cores and 16 threads and is generally slower and less efficient than AMD's Ryzen 9. Having said that, CPU performance is unlikely to be the limiting factor in this application.

NVIDIA's RTX 3080 graphics offers the best performance per buck in the series for today's games. Based on the all-new Ampere architecture, it is significantly more powerful and efficient than the RTX 20 series.

To wrap this all in a sleek package, Gigabyte adopts an unconventional air flow design with upwards exhaust. This design has the additional benefit of low noise emission.

Last but not least, it would not be AORUS with at least some RGB lighting sprinkled in, and the Model S has it in moderation.

For those wishing for more power, Gigabyte also introduced the Model X in an ATX form factor.
