Product Overview

Sonos Sub Gen 3 is a sleek wireless subwoofer designed to enhance the low-frequency performance of Sonos' smart speakers and sounbars. Its wireless form factor affords the owner maximum flexibility in placement and pairing with their sound systems.

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
A little extra boosting (say, levels 2 or 3) goes a long way when listening to music with serious sub-bass depth. For films, the levels seem most natural at roughly 0-5. For an even sound signature, we recommend keeping the Sub level close to zero for classical and jazz.
Pros
  • Powerful sub-bass depth at default levels
  • Powerful rumble and thunder
Cons
  • No built-in subwoofer
