EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC GAMING is an entry-level option powered by NVIDIA's RTX 3060 chip. Built like the RTX 3070 XC GAMING, the RTX 3060 version uses a 2-slot, 2-fan design.
It is also available without the metal backplate as RTX 3060 XC BLACK GAMING: Unlike higher-powered models where the difference between these two variants in cost amount to just $20, however, here the difference is $60. This is because the standard XC GAMING enjoys a boost clock of 1882MHz, while the BLACK version only boosts to 1770MHz. We can consider the standard version as a mini "XC ULTRA GAMING" model that shares the lower-cost design with its lesser sibling.
Thanks to its compact size and low power requirements, the RTX 3060 XC GAMING is suitable for builds limited by space and/or power. While the stripped-down GPU has fewer CUDA Cores compared to other RTX 30-series cards, it is still an improvement over the previous-gen cards. The 2nd-gen Raytracing Cores and 3rd-gen Tensor Cores further make it an interesting choice.
