Gigabyte AORUS RTX 3060 Ti ELITE is a factory-overclocked graphics card based on NVIDIA's RTX 3060 Ti. It is clocked higher than non-AORUS cards but lower than the top-of-the-range MASTER model.
Unlike other cards, the WINDFORCE 3X alternate spinning fans on this AORUS card feature RGB lighting on the fan shrouds, a design choice that may appeal to some gamers. Gigabyte refer to this as the "Neonpunk" style. Naturally, there is extensive customizability for the RGB effects, which perhaps justifies a riser card in your custom build.
Performance-wise, the RTX 3060 Ti is certainly not the cream of the crop, though its 4864 CUDA cores, 2nd-gen ray-tracing cores, and 3rd-gen tensor cores indeed make for an improvement over the RTX 2080 from last generation, making the card an interesting option for budget-conscious buyers.
Naturally, Gigabyte also markets several other custom design RTX 3060 Ti cards with different set of tradeoffs.
