MSI RX 6700 XT GAMING (X)
Graphics CardProduct Gallery
Product Overview
MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming is a factory-overclocked graphics card powered by AMD's RX 6700 XT chip. It adds a more robust cooling solution in the form of Twin Frozr 8 and RGB lighting. MSI also markets a higher-clocked version that is visually identical, the RX 6700 XT Gaming X.
With 2560 stream processors on the RDNA 2 architecture, the RX 6700 XT is a serious contender for 1440p gaming. Like other RX 6000-series cards, the MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT supports DirectX 12 Ultimate.
The Twin Frozr 8 cooling solution comprises two Torx Fan 4.0 fans with pairs of fan blades bound together with an outer ring to reduce turbulence and increase air pressure. The cooling pipes have square profiles to increase the contact surface for speedier cooling. MSI has also endowed this card with a special heatsink design that improves airflow.
MSI's RX 6700 XT lineup also includes the reference card and another pair of custom cards that lose RGB lighting.

External Reviews
techradar[1]
Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)The MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT is at most 4% faster than the reference version of the GPU, in Metro Exodus at 1440p. Power delivery is also a bit more robust here, with two 8-pin PCIe power connectors, rather than the 6+8-pin power connectors of AMD's version. We do kind of wish that there was a USB-C port, especially for folks who want to utilize the 12GB of memory for creative workloads.
Pros
- Great 1440p gaming performance
- Great RGB lighting
- Great price
Cons
- Not the best ray tracing
