Product Overview
Sony SRS-XP500 is a powerful portable wireless speaker designed for parties. It features a unique X-Balanced speaker setup with two horizontally placed tweeters and two vertically stacked non-circular woofers, giving it a wider, less directional sound stage perfect for parties.
Compared to the SRS-XG500 unveiled at the same time, the SRS-XP500 does not use passive radiators. It is also larger and more powerful but has a lower weather resistance rating.
The SRS-XP500 boasts 20 hours of battery life and support fast charging that adds 80 minutes of playback in just 10 minutes. It also features RGB lighting that creates an ambience for parties.
Naturally, Sony has enabled Party Connect feature, making it possible to connect up to 100 compatible speakers for music and lighting syncing.
Last but not least, the SRS-XP500 comes with two USB charging ports as well as a microphone and guitar inputs for versatility in entertainment.
For those who demand more power, Sony also introduced the SRS-XP700 at the same time.
