Product Overview

ASUS ZenFone 7 is a premium smartphone by ASUS in 2020. It extends the flip-up camera setup found in the ZenFone 6 and upgrades the display to a 6.67-inch OLED unit.

This new AMOLED NanoEdge display refreshes at 90Hz and boasts 1ms response time. It offers high color accuracy and covers over 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. HDR10+ is also supported.

As other premium smartphones from 2020, the ZenFone 7 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platform, which in this case is aided by up to 8GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. MicroSD expandable storage is also on offer.

Another area where ASUS has made significant improvement is the camera setup, with a complete revamp that includes not only an upgrade of the main camera module but also the addition of a third lens.

This flip-up main camera unit allows the user to access both camera units as front-facing cameras. It also makes it possible for ASUS to push the phone's display to the edge of all sides, without notch or punch hole.

ASUS also introduced the ZenFone 7 Pro, which offers moderate upgrades but is highly similar to the base model.
