Product Overview

Cambridge Audio Evo 75 is one of the two all-in-one music players (essentially stereo network streamer) introduced by the storied English firm in 2021. Using Hypex NCore Class D amplification, the Evo 75 is able to deliver a high level of power in a small chassis.
The Evo 75 comes in a timeless design with two finishes that echo the 1970s. Meanwhile, it manages to be modern and minimalist with a large dual-concentric rotary dial and a large 6.8-inch color LCD display.
Power-wise, the Evo 75 delivers 75W per channel into 8ohms from a chassis of just one-foot by one-foot. In terms of DAC, the Evo 75 sports an ESS Sabre DAC that supports up to 32-bit 384kHz high-res audio via USB.
Connectivity-wise, the Evo 75 packs not only optical, coaxial, and USB ports but also ARC (via HDMI), Bluetooth, and WiFi.
With the Evo 75, Cambridge Audio also introduced Evo 150 that adds not only power but also features in the same compact chassis. A matching CD transport, Evo CD, and bookshelf speakers, Evo S, are launched at the same time.

Reviewers from whathifi have found:
Cambridge's StreamMagic app is useful during set-up and for accessing settings. It proves reliable and speedy for browsing multi-thousand-track libraries. You can also choose which sources to show and hide, and that will be helpfully mirrored on the Evo 75's display menu to save you scrolling through the ones you don't need. It's powered by third-party Hypex NCore Class D amplifiers.
Pros
  • Punchy, dynamic sound

Cons
