Product Overview
SteelSeries Arctis 5 is a midrange gaming headset powered by the same 40mm hi-res drivers found across the Arctis range. It can be driven via either USB or a 4-pole 3.5mm audio jack.
The Arctis 5 comes with a retractable boom bidirectional microphone similar to that found in higher-end models, though it is rated to be quieter. Like all models in the Arctis range, the Arctis 5 comes with the ChatMix functionality, here via an in-series dial in the supplied USB-C cable.
Another important feature of the Arctis 5 is Prism RGB lighting.
With the Arctis 5, SteelSeries also refreshed the Arctis 3 and Arctis 7 to follow the success of the Arctis Pro.

External Reviews
tomshardware[1]
Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)The SteelSeries Arctis 5 is an attractive gaming headset with sound profiles that do well with other types of gaming and media. The microphone is bidirectional and Discord-certified, and its noise-cancelling features were especially impressive during gameplay. While the virtual 7.1 surround sound proved disappointing, gamers will be able to wear the headset for a regular set of hours.
