Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT EAGLE is a three-fan graphics card powered by AMD's RX 6700 XT chip. Sharing the physical and thermal design of NVIDIA cards in the EAGLE-series, the RX 6700 XT EAGLE offers ample thermal headroom for this entry-level graphics chip.
The RX 6700 XT EAGLE features WINDFORCE 3X cooling system with alternate-spinning fans. With three 80mm unique blade fans and three composite cooper heat pipes, the WINDFORCE 3X cooling system is more than able to manage the RX 6700 XT.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT is based on AMD's RDNA 2 architecture with up to 96MB of AMD Infinity Cache and AMD's latest raytracing capabilities. Like other graphics cards released during the last year, the RX 6700 XT is PCI Express 4.0-compatible. It comes with 12GB of GDDR6 192-bit graphics memory.
Despite its market positioning, the RX 6700 XT can drive up to four monitors simultaneously. It is, however, marketed primarily for 1440p gaming, as the compromises in power makes it difficult to perform at higher resolutions.
Gigabyte also markets the RX 6700 XT in reference, GAMING OC, and ELITE-series guises.
In the second half of 2021, Gigabyte started supplying the RX 6700 XT EAGLE OC, which is the factory-overclocked variant of the 6700 XT EAGLE. The only difference is the higher clockspeed.
