Product Overview

SteelSeries Sensei Ten is a wired ambidextrous mouse that shares its design with the legendary Sensei released a decade earlier. It is upgraded with SteelSeries' new TrueMove Pro sensor.
The TrueMove Pro sensor allows the Sensei Ten to perform on a broader set of surfaces, with up to 18000 CPI resolution and 50G acceleration. It also allows for tilt tracking, which eliminates tracking errors when the user lifts off at an angle.
Other features of the Sensei Ten include the new dual spring mechanisms in its mechanical switches. The fully ambidextrous design allocates the same easily-accessible set of buttons for left-handed users as it is for right-handed ones.
Two other wired mice with symmetric design in SteelSeries' lineup are the Aerox 3 and Rival 3, though they lack the corresponding thumb buttons for left-hand users, making them less than truly ambidextrous.

Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The Sensei Ten is an eight-button mouse with a pretty standard layout. Customization is done through the SteelSeries Engine 3 software. The mouse is comfortable to hold and glides effortlessly on SteelSeries' own QcK mouse pad. There are only a couple of reasons you might choose a different mouse.
Pros
  • Impressive performance
  • Soft-touch matte finish
  • Comfortable to hold
Cons
  • Lacks a lot of bells and whistles

Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Sensei Ten is one of the few gaming mice you could use in an office environment without it looking out of place. The matte-plastic shell looks sleek and, dare I say, "professional" At 3.3 ounces, it's heavier than both its mainstream esports competition, the Razer Viper.
Pros
  • Sleek, lightweight design
  • Lightweight and comfortable
  • Supports SteelSeries Engine 3
Cons
  • On-mouse customization can be a bit obtuse

rtings[3]

Reviewer score 56% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The SteelSeries Sensei 10 is a great mouse for FPS video games. The mouse is quite lightweight, and all of its buttons can be programmed. The sensor performance is excellent, and because it's wired, the click latency is also good. Unfortunately, there are no L/R tilt buttons on the mouse wheel.
Pros
  • Feels very center-weighted
  • Excellent sensor performance
  • Good click latency
  • Comfortable for small hands
Cons
  • No L/R tilt buttons
  • Not as many buttons as designed MMO mice

techradar[4]

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Sensei Ten boasts a true ambidextrous design, with a symmetrical seven button layout. The buttons have one of the most satisfying and tactile clicks we've experienced in some time. The mouse features a CPI adjustment button on its face that lets you switch between five settings on the fly. Tilt tracking is another bullet point feature touted by SteelSeries.
Pros
  • Elegant, ambidextrous design
  • Excellent click tracking
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Lackluster connection cable
  • No braided connection cable

tomsguide[5]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The Sensei Ten celebrates 10 years of the SteelSeries Sensei mouse. The device is symmetrical, low to the ground, has a variety of dots-per-inch (DPI) settings. It's a good design, particularly for lefties, who don't have many options in the world of gaming mice.
Pros
  • Fantastic design
  • Comfortable and responsive in-game
  • Excellent sensor and software
Cons
  • No wireless version

tomshardware[6]

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The Sensei Ten performed admirably with every game I've played. The mouse's eight buttons (two side buttons, left and right mouse buttons, scroll wheel and the button underneath the scroll wheel) are all programmable. Tracking seemed accurate no matter what CPI setting I used, so far as I could tell.
Pros
  • Comfortable for right-handed users
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • No detachable cable
  • Scroll wheel button can be overzealous
