Product Overview

Logitech G512 is a wired mechanical gaming keyboard that features Logitech's GX mechanical switches. Compared to the G513 unveiled at the same time, the G512 loses the memory foam palmrest, extra gaming keycaps, and keycap puller. It is otherwise identical.
Despite its mid-range market positioning, the G512 features Logitech's LIGHTSYNC per-key RGB lighting. Logitech has also endowed the mechanical keyboard with a premium construction in 5052 aluminum alloy.
Like the G513, the G512 compromises in having only 26-key rollover and anti-ghosting, though for most users this is likely sufficient. It also comes with USB passthrough that makes it easy to connect another device such as a gaming mouse.

The Logitech G512 SE is an amazing keyboard for gaming. The blue switches are very responsive and the audible clicks give assurance that your keystroke is registered. The full RGB backlight is great for dark room gaming or to highlight important keys. The function keys can all be reprogrammed with macros, though MMO players may find the lack of dedicated macro keys a bit disappointing.
