Product Overview

ASUS ROG Falchion is a premium, compact 65% mechanical gaming keyboard with 68 keys and dual connectivity modes: via USB or wirelessly via 2.4GHz RF. It features ROG's Aura Sync per-key RGB lighting, an interactive touch panel, and a polycarbonate keyboard cover case for transportation.
Like many premium mechanical keyboards, the ROG Falchion features Cherry MX switches. ASUS offers the consumer four choices of them, including the popular Cherry MX Brown and Cherry MX Blue. This affords consumers the flexibility to customize the keyboard to their hearts' desire.
The flexibility of the ROG Falchion is also evidenced in its dual connectivity modes, including a 2.4GHz RF wireless connection with a latency of merely 1ms. Naturally, the premium keyboard features 100% anti-ghosting and N-key rollover.
Lat but not least, ASUS ROG Falchion comes with a sleek interactive touch panel that can be customized.

pcworld[1]

Reviewer score 44% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcworld have found:
Asus is taking a more focused approach with the ROG Falchion. With an RF-only wireless USB connection, it's laser-targeted at PC gamers. Typing was smooth and reliable, with a nice angled lift provided by folding keyboard feet. The big drawback for this small board is the software.
Pros
  • Flexible RGB lighting
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Software isn’t as flexible as competitors

rtings[2]

Reviewer score 35% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
ASUS Falchion is fantastic for gaming. It has incredibly low latency and customizable RGB backlighting. All keys are macro-programmable, including the touch panel on the left side. It doesn't have a built-in trackpad, so you also need a separate mouse to navigate your computer's interface.
Pros
  • Feels excellently well-built and well-designed
  • Cherry MX Red switches feel light and responsive
  • Low latency and customizable RGB backlighting
  • Comfortable typing experience
  • Very low latency
Cons
  • No Bluetooth support
  • Doesn't come with a wrist rest
