Lenovo IdeaCentre Gaming 5i 14IMB05 is an entry-level gaming desktop computer powered by 10th-gen Intel Core processors. It is marketed alongside an AMD-powered version of essentially the same rig released in the second half of 2020.
In a compact 14L chassis, the IdeaCentre G5i packs up to NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 graphics. Features common among 2020 devices such as DDR4 memory, WiFi 6, and M.2 PCIe SSD are all either available or standard.
The IdeaCentre Gaming 5i sports an iridescent Chameleon Blue front cover that adds a touch of style to the rig. Despite its market positioning, Lenovo has endow it with a large selection of I/O options, including a VGA port, making it an interesting upgrade for consumers with a tight budget and wishing to pair their new computer with legacy peripherals.
