Product Overview
The 2022 Lexus IS 500 F SPORT Performance is the first Lexus model in the new F SPORT Performance line. Based on the 3rd-gen XE30 IS compact executive sedan, the IS 500 F SPORT is powered by the same 5.0L 2UR-GSE V8 found in the LC 500, which is an evolution of the engine found in the XE20 LS F.
Unlike the LC 500, the IS 500 F SPORT Performance uses an 8-speed automatic transmission that was featured in the LS F. It comes standard with the IS RWD F SPORT's Dynamic Handling Package, which includes Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and a Torsen limited slip differential (LSD).
The IS 500 sports exclusive 19-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. Inside them, the sport sedan carries 14-inch two-piece aluminum front brake rotors and 12.7-inch rear rotors.
Technology-wise, the IS 500 features Lexus's latest driver aid systems and infotainment system.
