Product Overview

ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED UM325 is an ultra-thin, ultra-light laptop powered by AMD's Ryzen 5000-series Zen 3 CPUs in the same chassis shared with the latest UX325 ZenBook 13.
Like the Intel-powered UX325, the UM325 features a FHD OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Like other variants of the ZenBook 13, the same 88% screen-to-body ratio is retained.
In the same vein, NumerPad 2.0, ErgoLift hinge mechanism, and IR cameras are carried over to the ZenBook 13 OLED UM325. In terms of connectivity, memory, and storage options, the UM325 is identical to the 14-inch UM425UA.
Alongside the ZenBook 13 OLED UM325, ASUS also introduced at CES 2021 several other ZenBook models with similar design powered by either Intel or AMD processors.

digitaltrends[1]

Reviewers from digitaltrends have found the following***:
In nearly every category that matters, the Asus ZenBook 13 OLED is well ahead of the competition. The OLED screen is a stand-out feature, but so is the AMD-powered performance and the fantastic battery life. Do I wish it had a headphone jack and a 16:10 screen? Of course. But the strengths more than make up for those faults.

Pros
  • Gorgeous 16:10 OLED screen
  • Excellent battery life
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • No headphone jack

Reviewers from notebookcheck have found the following***:
The Asus ZenBook 13 UM325S is a fast and compact subnotebook with an excellent display. The built-in OLED display offers very low color deviations and very large color space. The two speakers produce a good sound that is quite acceptable. The limited selection of connections might become a problem for some users.

Pros
  • Good build quality
  • High-quality materials

pcmag[3]

Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
The AMD ZenBook 13 punches far above its weight and price when it comes to handling intensive workflows. It took just eight minutes to convert a 12-minute clip of 4K video to 1080p using the Handbrake app. Lasting for more than 17 hours in our battery rundown test, it should get you through a full day of light work without visiting a power outlet.

Pros
  • Best-in-class performance
  • Excellent keyboard and touchpad
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • Lackluster touchpad

techradar[4]

Reviewers from techradar have found the following***:
At just 0.55-inches thin (13.9 mm) and 2.51 pounds, this is a seriously lightweight Ultrabook. The edge-to-edge keyboard was comfortable enough for us, but we type for a living. You might notice the absence of a headphone jack, which honestly we'd have preferred to see in exchange for a microSD card slot.

Pros
  • Sleek aluminum design
  • Comfortable keyboard
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No headphone jack
  • No microSD card slot

tomsguide[5]

Reviewers from tomsguide have found the following***:
The AMD-equipped Asus Zenbook 13 OLED is an excellent value, offering an OLED display in a slim, lightweight package for less than a thousand bucks. The touchpad beneath the keyboard is wide and easy to use, and I never had trouble using it to tap, drag, and swipe my way through the workday. However, I did have a lot of trouble reliably using the number pad built into the touchpad.

Pros
  • Superb battery life
  • Slim, light design
  • Excellent performance
  • Excellent webcam
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3
  • No headphone jack

Reviewers from tomshardware have found the following***:
The ZenBook 13 UM325SA has a single 720p webcam with IR capability for Windows Hello. While it has strong color accuracy, I found that photos I took with it suffered from low quality. The colors were natural, but it still almost feels as if I have a filter on. Despite costing a maximum of $1,000 at its highest configuration, it easily stands above Intel Tiger Lake competitors.

Pros
  • Beautiful OLED display
  • Slim, light design
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Dim display
  • Mediocre webcam
