Product Overview
ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582) is a flagship dual-screen laptop powered by 10th-gen Intel Core Comet Lake H-series CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU.
As the laptop's namesake, the main display features a gorgeous 4K UHD OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and high color accuracy, which is complemented by a secondary 4K display in the form of ScreenPad Plus.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duos break with the conventional clam shell laptop design with a full-width ScreenPad Plus and a touchpad / numpad that resides to the right of the keyboard. This ScreenPad Plus is compatible with the bundled 2nd-gen ASUS Pen, offering 4096 pressure levels.
Thanks to the dual-screen form factor, the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED offers superior cooling, thanks to the elevated secondary display. This feature also improves the device's ergonomics.
Last but not least, the UX582 is encased in a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis and has passed MIL-STD 810H durability standard.
Alongside the 15-inch model, ASUS also markets the 14-inch UX482.

External Reviews
laptopmag[1]
Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)The ZenBook Pro Duo 15's 1TB SSD fared nicely in our file-transfer test. It duplicated a 25GB multimedia file in 28.3 seconds at a rate of 950 megabytes per second. On the Laptop Mag battery test, the ZenBook lasted 5 hours and 1 minute with both 4K screens on.
Pros
- Excellent 4K display
- Good battery life
- Solid performance
Cons
- Mediocre webcam
- No Thunderbolt 3
notebookcheck[2]
Reviewer score 86% (normalized by Neofiliac)Asus tweaked the cooling solution compared to the previous model, but the fans will still get very inconveniently loud under high workloads. Thanks to the ErgoLift hinges and the tilted secondary screen, Asus effectively manages to keep the keyboard very cool. The speakers of the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 create a rich sound and are enjoyable during media playback, but they could be a bit louder.
Pros
- Fast OLED screen
- Good battery life
- Very good performance
- Good speakers
Cons
- Very loud under high workloads
- No dedicated subwoofer
techradar[3]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)The performance of the Asus ZenBook Duo Pro 15 (UX582L) is one of its major selling points. If you're a photographer or videographer, you'll have to use a dongle or wireless/cloud transfer for your work. The USB Type-C ports are also Thunderbolt 3, not the latest Thunderbolt 4 ports. For a laptop this expensive, you shouldn't really see any bloatware.
Pros
- Fantastic performance
- Excellent battery life
Cons
- Mediocre webcam
- No SD card slot
- No physical camera shutter
tomsguide[4]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)The ZenBook Pro Duo failed to hit 30 frames per second when we cranked the settings up to 4K on just about all of our gaming benchmarks. Dull, desaturated colors and grainy video make for and underwhelming video conferencing experience. Control Panel is a neat concept, but there are also some idiosyncracies to work out. With an update to enable better communication between apps, I could see real benefits.
Pros
- Attractive, ergonomic design
- Sleek, lightweight design
- Good battery life
Cons
- No dedicated display
- Uncomfortable to sit on
