Reviewer score 59% (normalized by Neofiliac)Images are pixel-binned down to 12MP from the 48MP Samsung GM2 sensor. Portrait mode detection is very good and I observed excellent edge detection. The 5MP macro camera does a fair job at taking close up shots. Video mode isn't too bad and the Poco M2 Pro can capture good-looking 4K video at 30FPS.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Excellent battery life
- 90Hz refresh rate
Cons
- No wireless charging
- No stereo speakers

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)There are 0.6x, 1x and 2x zoom selectors right above the shutter button – the first two switch between the wide-angle and standard cameras, but the zoom is all digital. The 5-megapixel macro camera does deliver much higher quality shots than we've seen from most other macro cameras. The front camera is fairly good in the daytime as well as at night, but we didn't like the aggressive beautification which made faces look artificial.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Good battery life
- Fast charging
Cons
- Mediocre camera performance
- Unimpressive low-light camera performance

Reviewer score 54% (normalized by Neofiliac)Xiaomi includes a 30-watt power supply with a quick-charging function for the large battery. In our review, the smartphone recharged by up to 50 percent within a matter of 20 minutes. The mono loudspeaker fires a very flat sound out of the smartphone's bottom segment through five cut-out circles.
Pros
- Great workmanship
- Very good battery life
- Decent performance
Cons
- No IP certification
- Mediocre speaker
- No wireless charging
notebookcheck[4]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Redmi Note 9 shines with great contrasts and an even illumination across the entire IPS panel. The "standard" color profile offers the highest color accuracy. The smartphone dissipates heat so efficiently that the SoC's clock speeds do not need to be throttled. The preinstalled apps include Xiaomi's game turbo, which is supposed to improve the gameplay experience.
Pros
- High-contrast IPS display
- Fast Wi-Fi
- Good battery life
Cons
- Mediocre camera performance
- No microSD card slot
