Product Overview
Mi 10 Pro is part of Xiaomi's 2020 flagship Mi smartphone series. It adds a 8MP 10X hybrid zoom camera to the quad-camera setup found in the base Mi 10, while the Snapdragon 865 chipset and 108MP 8K main camera are retained.
The Snapdragon 865 has a maximum clock speed of 2.84 GHz. Compared to its predecessor, CPU performance is up by 25%, while GPU performance also increases by 25% at a 35% reduction of power consumption. Last but not least, the 5th-gen AIE artificial intelligence engine enables AI capabilities that are 2x as powerful.
Mi 10 Pro also uses LPDDR5 memory with a maximum transmission rate of 5500 Mbps, with up to 50% performance improvement while being exceptionally power efficient. The UFS3.0 memory used for storage is also the fastest in the industry, achieving maximum sequential write speed of 730 MB per second. WiFi 6, which is 2.7x as fast as WiFi 5, is also supported.

There's an always-on display and dark mode. Xiaomi's MIUI 11 is one of the more playful skins I've come across.

Even from very steep angles, the perceived colors on the screen still look vivid and undistorted.

Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Mi 10 Pro has four rear cameras: a 108MP main sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera that's also used for Macro shots and two telephoto cameras, one with 2x zoom and one with 3.7x zoom. The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2340x1080 and a 90Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi's camera app and MIUI still need work, perhaps even an overhaul, before they can rival the best in the industry.

techradar[8]
Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has some of the best speakers we've heard on a smartphone. You can power up the phone via 50W fast charging, or 30W wireless charging. The operating system is Android 10, with Xiaomi's MIUI interface laid over the top. There are quite a few preinstalled apps that you're unlikely to ever use.
Pros
- Gorgeous 90Hz screen
- Great speakers
- Good battery life
Cons
- Camera cut-out is annoying
- In-screen fingerprint sensor feels a little slow
tomsguide[9]
Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Mi 10 Pro 5G comes with Android 10 out of the box, though it also has MIUI version 11 installed over top of it. There's no app drawer, and so a swipe up from the shortcuts tray on your home screen brings up a page within Xiaomi's custom browser. Xiaomi's flagship is one of an endangered species of handsets in the modern era to feature an IR blaster.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Good battery life
- Good cameras
Cons
- No IR blaster
- No U.S. carriers

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro runs Android 10 and runs MIUI 11. MIUI is a step in the right direction when compared to older iterations of MIUI, there are some things it gets right – finally, we have an optional apps tray. There is also a bit of instability. The camera shutter release occasionally wouldn’t register presses, and some touch sensitivity issues forced me to lock and unlock the phone to fix them.
Pros
- Excellent performance
- Excellent battery life
- Fast charging
Cons
- Middling cameras
- No water resistance
- No IP rating
