Product Overview
LG K51S is an entry-level smartphone in LG's 2020 K-series. Compared to the K61 debuted at the same time, the K51S comes with a lower-resolution display, smaller memory, and a lesser main camera. Nevertheless, the K51S still enjoys the 4000 mAh battery, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, and MIL-STD-810G certified durability.
The K51S also features a quad-camera setup that comprise a wide angle camera, a macro camera, and a depth sensor in addition to a high-resolution main camera. In particular, the quad-cell main camera uses pixel-binning to produce a 8MP image from the 32MP sensor, improving low-light performance as well as dynamic range.

Reviewer score 31% (normalized by Neofiliac)Four camera modules are found in the K51S, compared to the predecessor K50S a macro lens has been added, but only with a very low 2 megapixel resolution. 64 GB eMMC flash as mass storage and only 3 GB RAM are somewhat stingy. The fingerprint sensor on the back can be easily felt and reacts quickly to a touch.
Pros
- High-quality case
- Decent battery life
- Fast WLAN
Cons
- Mediocre camera performance
- No microSD card slot
- Slow WLAN
