MSI GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 3X is an entry-level triple-fan RTX-30 series graphics card. It is identically-designed as the RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 3X but is slimmer than the RTX 3070 VENTUS 3X, RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X, and RTX 3090 VENTUS 3X.
MSI also markets a factory-overclocked version that offers 30MHz increase in boost clock but is otherwise identical, the GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 3X OC.
As the least powerful version among RTX 30-series GPUs, the RTX 3060 is more suitable for casual gamers and general users. Nevertheless, NVIDIA has not its stripped features: this entry-level GPU benefits from the rich feature set of the Ampere architecture.
Like other VENTUS cards, the RTX 3060 VENTUS 3X is reinforced with a brushed-aluminum backplate. It also uses MSI's Torx Fan 3.0, which sports a unique fan blade design that increases air flow while reducing fan noise.
