Product Overview

Gigabyte VISION DRIVE 1TB is an external NVMe SSD that reaches sequential read and write speeds of up to 2000MB/s. It is Gigabyte's first external SSD drive.
Via the USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C connection, users connect to a 1TB PCIe Gen3 x4 solid-stage drive (SSD). Like other Gigabyte VISION computer components, the VISION DRIVE wears a white color. In this case, it is combined with leather trim that gives the unit a more premium look and feel.
The VISION DRIVE 1TB uses a Phison E12 controller chip that is proven to deliver not only speed but also reliability. Still, to maximize the drive's durability, Gigabyte engineered the unit with heat dissipation in mind. Further, a steel protective case is used over the SSD inside, making the VISION DRIVE SSD compliant with MIL-STD-810G 516.6 for shock resistance.
The drive comes with a travel case.
Gigabyte also offers the drive as an "Upgrade Kit" that also includes a GC-USB 3.2 GEN2x2 expansion card.
