Samsung HW-S60T 4.0-Channel
SoundbarProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Samsung HW-S60T is an entry-level 4.0-channel all-in-one soundbar. It supports Dolby Audio and DTS Digital Surround and is compatible with SWA-8500S wireless rear speakers.
The HW-S60T features two side-firing horn speakers with Samsung Acoustic Beam that provide room-filling surround sound. They complement two tweeters and two woofers in an all-in-one design that is easy to place in any modern room. Aiding this is the Kvadrat fabric wrapping.
Samsung's SWA-8500S wireless rear speakers can be purchased separately to create a fuller surround sound experience.
There's also a more affordable, 2.0-channel model that shares the same design, the HW-S40T, by Samsung.

rtings[1]
Reviewer score 48% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung HW-S60T is alright for mixed use. While this soundbar lacks thump and rumble, it delivers punchy bass and a neutral mid and treble, which is suitable for podcasts or audiobooks. If you're looking for more bass, Samsung sells a compatible wireless subwoofer separately.
Pros
- Well-balanced and neutral mid and treble-range
- Graphic EQ plus three presets
- Good soundstage that sounds slightly wider than the bar itself and it's pretty focused
- Great for dialogue and TV shows
Cons
- Some compression artifacts at max volume
- Lacks thump and rumble

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)Samsung HW-S60T is a wireless soundbar with a wireless subwoofer. It has five drivers (four woofers and a central tweeter), and three passive radiators for bass. Amazon Alexa voice control is available too (Samsung seems to have quietly consigned its Bixby voice assistant to the bin marked ‘3D TV and other failures') There's a banana-shaped remote control that features just enough buttons.
Pros
- Excellent build quality
- Excellent sound quality
- Lots of control options
Cons
- Not as punchy as it might be
- No Dolby Atmos

Pros
- Attractive design
- Comfortable to use
- Supports Atmos, DTS:X, Q Symphony and 4K HDR
Cons
- No Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos
- No Atmos support
