Samsung HW-Q70T 3.1.2-Channel
SoundbarProduct Gallery
Product Overview
HW-Q70T is a 3.1.2-channel soundbar in Samsung's 2020 premium Q-series lineup. Rather similar to the HW-Q800T, the HW-Q70T comes with a smaller wireless subwoofer but retains the same main unit.
Like most other 2020 Q-series soundbars, the HW-Q70T supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X digital audio processing for a virtual surround experience. It activates Q-symphony to play surround sound from both the TV and the soundbar, further improving the listening experience, when paired with Samsung's 2020 QLED TVs.
Owners can purchase compatible rear surround speakers (SWA-9000S) at a later date to obtain the 12-driver, 5.1.4-channel experience.

Reviewer score 44% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung HW-Q70T is good for mixed usage. Its well-balanced sound profile lacks a bit of sub-bass, which may be noticeable with bass-heavy music and movies. Its dedicated center channel makes it suitable for dialogue-heavy content like podcasts and TV shows. Though it supports surround content, it won't provide the most immersive experience.
