Wharfedale EVO4.4
Floorstanding LoudspeakerProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Whatfedale EVO4.4 is the larger of the two floorstanding loudspeakers in the EVO4-series, which was developed alongside the company's flagship Elysian project.
The EVO4 series sits above the Diamond 12 series unveiled in 2020. Notably, all EVO4 speakers feature an AMT treble unit instead of the conventional dome tweeter. It consists of a large, pleated lightweight diaphragm driven across its surface by rows of magnets, which makes it more efficient and accurate. The twin 6.5" woofers in the EVO4.4 is made of woven Kevlar, just like that of the Elysian 4.
Other loudspeakers in the EVO4 series include two bookshelf speakers, EVO4.1 and EVO4.2, a smaller floorstander, EVO4.3, two center channel speakers, EVO4.C and EVO4.CS, and a surround speaker EVO4.S.
