Sonus faber Gravis V is a powerful 12-inch subwoofer designed to pair with the company's Olympica Nova and Homage Tradition collections, incorporating 14 layers of hand-finished lacquering and fine Italian leather wrapping.
The Gravis V features a 320mm long throw, front-firing honeycomb cone powered by a 1000W class AB amplifier. Compared to lower-cost options, the Gravis V also comes with a set of balanced XLR connectors for high level inputs.
Sharing a similar but less extravagant design is Gravis III, which pairs well with the Olympica Nova series. Sonus faber also markets the flagship Gravis VI, which is significantly more powerful and comes with a dual-driver push-pull design.
