    Reviewers from dpreview have found:
The Q2 Monochrom has an excellent design, an easy to navigate menu system and dependable autofocus. The camera’s noise characteristics at high ISO paired with that fast lens make this a great choice for shooting late at night. The level of detail found in every file is impressive and although these images are all straight out of camera, the flexibility of the Raw files once you’ve dropped them into Lightroom is outstanding.
    Pros
    • Full-frame image quality
    • Excellent autofocus
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Limited to black-and-white images

The Leica Q2 Monochrom costs $5,995. It's a full-frame black-and-white camera with a fixed wide-angle lens. Its color sensor gives you the option to convert photos to black and white later. For the rest of us, the $1,ifilm X100V is a compelling alternative.
    Pros
    • Fantastic build quality
    • Color sensor lets you convert photos to black and white
    • Built-in video function
    Cons
    • No support for external microphones or recorders

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from techradar have found:
Leica Q2 Monochrom has a 3.68MP OLED electronic viewfinder, rather than an optical viewfinder. Despite being a compact camera, the camera looks and feels very much like a Leica, with a sleek matte black body and minimalist external controls. Using the camera is extremely easy thanks to an intuitive menu system and controls. The camera can shoot full-resolution stills at up to 10fps.
    Pros
    • Fantastic image quality
    • Fast and positive single point AF
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Bulky and heavy
    • No viewfinder
