Product Overview
MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming Trio graphics card is designed for enthusiast gamers and data scientists. Sharing the same build and feature set with the RTX 3090 Gaming Trio, the RTX 3080 Gaming Trio also comes in two versions: the Gaming X Trio that increases the boost clock by 60MHz, and the standard version that boosts to 1755MHz.
Like the RTX 3090, the RTX 3080 Gaming Trio features Torx Fan 4.0, Core Pipes, and advanced heatsink design for thermal management. High-quality components are used to ensure the stability and durability of the card over time.
MSI also markets RTX 3080 Ventus that does away with RGB lighting and boosts to a lower clock speed. There is also an RTX 3070 Gaming Trio available.
In early 2021, MSI also introduced the RTX 3080 Gaming Z Trio and RTX 3080 Gaming Trio Plus that weigh less than the original pair of cards: The Gaming Z Trio is clocked higher than the Gaming X Trio, capable of boosting to 1830MHz, while the Gaming Trio Plus is otherwise identical to the original Gaming Trio.
