ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 is a powerful graphics card built for gaming enthusiasts and data scientists. With NVIDIA's all-new Ampere SM, including 2nd-gen RT cores and 3rd-gen Tensor cores, the ROG Strix RTX 3080 delivers 2x the ray-tracing performance and 2x the throughput with structural sparsity and advanced AI algorithms.
The updated Axial-tech fans now come with a larger heatsink as well as more fan blades. By reversing the rotational direction of the center fan, ASUS now optimizes the air flow, making high-load tasks in long sessions a breeze.
Naturally, ASUS uses premium components for this high-end ROG-branded card.
In December 2020, ASUS introduced two white versions of the RTX 3080 that corresponds with the original black cards, the ROG-STRIX-RTX3080-10G-WHITE and the ROG-STRIX-RTX3080-O10G-WHITE.
In early 2021, ASUS further introduced a Gundam Edition of the white ROG Strix RTX 3080.
Other ROG Strix cards in this series include the RTX 3090, RTX 3070, and RTX 3060 versions.

Reviewer score 71%Asus has given its top RTX 3080 model a very powerful triple-slot cooler. Up to four external monitors can be connected simultaneously. Only the GeForce RTX 3090 offers more performance; we already reviewed it in our partner Zotac's configuration. Nearly all the games we tested could be played at 2160p without any problems.
