Product Overview

Dell XPS 9310 is a 13-inch ultra-portable laptop powered by Intel's 11th-gen Core i3, i5, or i7 mobile processors.
Sharing the same design as its predecessor, the XPS 9310 is thin and light, and its 16:10 FHD+ or UHD+ display is covered by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for durability. The 4-sided InfinityEdge display delivers a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The XPS 9310 also comes as a 2-in-1 that shares all the features and much of the configurations with the clamshell.

Reviewer score 90% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The Dell XPS 13 9310 with Tiger Lake remains the best laptop you can buy. It's just as good as its predecessor in terms of its design, input options, and overall usability. There's a fingerprint reader built into the (unlabeled, weirdly enough) power button on the upper-right of the keyboard.
Pros
  • Great build quality
  • Solid productivity performance
  • Excellent keyboard and touchpad
Cons
  • Battery life could be better
  • No Thunderbolt 3

Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
Tiger Lake brings with it Intel Evo, the second stage in the company's Project Athena initiative. The new 11th Gen processors aren't just bringing better performance and graphics, you also get longer battery life. At 0.1-inches, the 720p webcam is one of the world's smallest webcams.
Pros
  • Strong performance
  • Comfortable keyboard
  • Long battery life
Cons
  • Dim display
  • No webcam

notebookcheck[3]

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
When stressed with Prime95, the system would boost to the 3.9 GHz to 4.3 GHz range for just a few seconds until hitting a core temperature of 101 C. Thereafter, clock rates would steadily fall until they begin cycling indefinitely between 2.1 GHz to 3 GHz and 63 C to 81 C. Power consumption is generally higher than other Core i7 Ultrabooks powered by integrated graphics when 3DMark 06.
Pros
  • Excellent performance-per-watt compared to older Core i7-1165G7
  • High-contrast 4K display
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No AMOLED or full AdobeRGB/DCI-P3 options
  • No Thunderbolt 3

pcmag[4]

Reviewer score 92% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The XPS 13 is an exceptional ultraportable whose key strengths are its cutting-edge computing components in a beautifully designed, exceptionally well-constructed chassis. Equipped with a 52-watt-hour battery that lasted for 15 hours in our video playback test, it should easily survive an entire workday away from a power outlet. Intel's Iris Xe silicon is pretty good if you're seeking a robust gaming experience.
Pros
  • Sleek, well-constructed chassis
  • Beautiful, high-contrast display
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

t3[5]

Reviewer score 92% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from t3 have found:
The Dell XPS 13 is a class act: a laptop that combines power and portability in a stylish package. The OLED display is the cherry on the cake: 4K HDR movies and TV shows look great, with bright colors and deep, textured blacks. It looks great and performs well but it has a price to match.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Bright OLED screen
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No HDMI port

techadvisor[6]

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techadvisor have found:
Dell XPS 13 9310 is a stylish and powerful laptop. Powered by an 11th-gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor. All models come with integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Wireless connectivity is the same as before - Bluetooth 5, and Wi-Fi 6 (11ax)
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Strong performance
  • Decent battery life
Cons
  • Runs hot
  • No dedicated graphics

theverge[7]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from theverge have found:
Dell has finally released an OLED version of its XPS 13, and I'm typing this review on it right now. The OLED configuration costs exactly the same as an identically specced non-OLED 4K model ($1,699.99) The downside, of course, is that there is some battery life impact.
Pros
  • Gorgeous OLED display
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Battery life could be better
  • Not as bright as the FHD model

tomsguide[8]

Reviewer score 93% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The new Dell XPS 13 packs Intel's new Iris Xe integrated graphics, which showed some notable improvements from the integrated Iris Plus graphics found in previous-gen laptops. Dell's latest laptop features 9% larger keycaps and a 17% larger touchpad than the previous generation. It's a joy to type on, with smooth, bouncy keys that allowed me to work comfortably for hours at a time.
Pros
  • Fantastic performance
  • Comfortable keyboard
  • Long battery life
Cons
  • Poor webcam quality
  • No Thunderbolt 3

wired[9]

Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from wired have found:
The 2021 XPS 13 uses the same 11th-gen Intel chips as the previous model. There remains an option to add Intel's Iris Xe graphics. RAM choices of 8, 16, or 32 gigabytes are also unchanged. All that was not so good about the 2020 version is also still present.
Pros
  • Gorgeous OLED screen
  • Bright, vibrant colors
  • Long battery life
Cons
  • No backlight
  • Lackluster performance
