The MEG B550 UNIFY-X leads MSI's UNIFY series of gaming motherboards with a clean, pure black design that does away with fancy LED decorations while emphasizing the ultimate performance.
The MEG B550 UNIFY series brings great overclocking-ability to enthusiast gamers. It also features four M.2 connectors with RAID 0/1/10 support for the maximum storage performance. Three of the 4 support Lightning Gen 4, which is the fastest onboard storage on the market with up to 64 Gb/s transfer speed. To leverage this speed, the MEG B500 UNIFY offers an exclusive double-sided M.2 Shield Frozr thermal solution that ensures maximum SSD performance.
To power the high-performance CPU, the B550 UNIFY series motherboards feature a total of direct 14+2 digital power phases, 90A power stage, and Titanium choke III. Together, they ensure steady, consistent high currents for long gaming sessions. Naturally, MSI has included premium thermal solutions for the power delivery circuits.
The MEG B550 UNIFY also comes with 2.5G LAN and WiFi 6 connectivity options for low-latency online gaming.
The B550 UNIFY comes with 4 DIMM slots, while the UNIFY-X comes with two DIMM slots for a clearer memory signal for maximum overclocking performance.
