androidauthority[1]
Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 runs at the higher end of the entry-level segment. It has a 10.4-inch display, Snapdragon processor with 3GB of RAM, a huge battery, quad speakers, expandable storage, and a headphone jack. It comes in two storage variants and several different colors, including gray, silver, and gold.
Pros
- Great display
- Excellent battery life
- Good cameras
Cons
- No kids mode
- No headphone jack
laptopmag[2]
Reviewer score 64% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Galaxy Tab A7 runs on Android 10.4 and has an abundance of pre-installed apps. The front-facing, 5-megapixel camera can be found on the side bezel. It's fine for non-professional video conferencing, but you may want to consider a device with sharper cameras.
Pros
- Gorgeous 10.4-inch display
- Dolby Atmos support
- Good battery life
Cons
- Mediocre camera quality
- No Dolby Vision support
notebookcheck[3]
Reviewer score 65% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Galaxy Tab A7 LTE uses the octa-core Snapdragon 662 SoC, which belongs to the lower midrange in terms of its performance. The eMMC flash storage ensures relatively short load times and slightly increased the speed compared to the Galaxy Tab 10.1. While older games run smoothly, more current games will mostly only run if you choose balanced graphics settings.
Pros
- High-quality case
- Good battery life
- Good speakers
Cons
- Mediocre SoC performance
tomsguide[4]
Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Galaxy Tab A7 gets personal security right where others fail. The camera inside the top bezel of the tablet provides facial recognition, something you don't see in tablets this affordable. The Fire HD 10 doesn't offer any biometric security solution. This tablet runs on pure Android, unlike the Fire OS, a fork of Android.
Pros
- Slim and light
- Strong performance
- Great battery life
Cons
- No biometric security
- No 3D facial recognition
