Product Overview

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is a premium wireless gaming headset with improved microphone and speaker chambers. Powered by Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology, the BlackShark V2 Pro delivers lossless immersive audio for low-latency wireless gaming.
The BlackShark V2 Pro boasts up to 24 hours of battery life and 12 meters of wireless range. It uses the same Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm Drivers that debuted in the multi-award-winning Razer BlackShark V2; with the improved speaker chamber, the V2 Pro now delivers even brighter, clearer audio, with individually tuned high, mid and low range frequencies for clearer trebles, a rich midrange and powerful bass.
The BlackShark V2 Pro features the all-new 9.9mm Razer HyperClear Supercardioid Mic, providing ultra-clear voice quality. It is also able to reject more ambient noise from the back and sides.

Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The Razer Blackshark V2 Pro has successfully placed vocals at the front of every track I've listened to. The headset can even get so loud that I often remove it, leave it on my desk and listen to music like it's a speaker. Using Razer Synapse, you can edit your microphone settings. It has options for mic volume, whether or not it inherently has a voice gate.
Pros
  • Crisp, clear audio
  • Comfortable fit
  • Compatible with Razer Synapse
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lackluster battery life

pcmag[2]

Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is an excellent wireless headset based on an excellent wired headset. It offers strong audio performance, an incredibly clear mic, and THX Spatial Audio, plus wireless connectivity. Razer Synapse software lets you perform the same sorts of audio tweaks as you can with the wired BlackSharks.
Pros
  • Excellent audio performance
  • Excellent microphone
  • Supports THX Spatial Audio
Cons
  • No wireless connectivity

rtings[3]

Reviewer score 35% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro are adequate for neutral sound. They're comfortable enough to wear for long periods, and their over 23-hour continuous battery life can get you through long days on the go. Unfortunately, their bulky design isn't very portable, and they struggle to block out background noises like bus and plane engines or voices.
Pros
  • Over 23 hours of continuous battery life
  • Comfortable enough to wear for long periods
  • Compatible with PCs as well as PS4 and PS5 consoles over a non-Bluetooth connection
Cons
  • Bass-heavy sound profile
  • Mediocre recording quality

techradar[4]

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is a fantastic wireless headset that'll work well for general gaming or anyone with esports aspirations. The sound quality is outstanding across the board from general listening to general gaming. Console support is a bit wonky, so this is for PC gamers through and through.
Pros
  • 24 hour battery life
  • Excellent sound quality
  • Compatible with other audio output devices
Cons
  • Doesn’t work on PC

tomshardware[5]

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is fantastic for those seeking a great wireless headset. The sound quality of the Razer Triforce drivers is premium, but you'll need to tweak the settings for the cans to really come into their own. Razer touts 24 hours of service on a charge, which was about right in my testing.
Pros
  • Powerful audio performance
  • Premium build quality
  • Solid mic
Cons
  • No battery percentage reading in software

trustedreviews[6]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is a £179.99 wireless gaming headset. It uses Razer’s Synapse software, which allows for custom audio profiles, mic sensitivity and other ultra-specific settings. The headband is a solid piece of plastic surrounded by a soft layer of foam that ensures it sits comfortably upon your head.
Pros
  • Fantastic noise cancellation
  • Excellent build quality
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • No RGB lighting
