Product Overview
POCO X3 NFC is a mid-range smartphone in the lineup of Xiaomi's POCO sub-brand. Targeting the youth segment, the POCO X3 NFC features Qualcomm's latest 700-series 4G processor, Snapdragon 732G and a large 5160mAh battery to deliver two-day performance for intensive tasks.
For gaming, the phone’s Z-axis linear motor ensures superb haptic feedback with over 150 vibration modes for different scenarios. It also features a 120Hz display with 240Hz touch sampling rate.
For the best user experience, the POCO X3 NFC embeds LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus technology that combines an enlarged copper heat pipe with multiple layers of graphite. Even in situations where the large 5160 mAh battery is depleted, the 33W fast charging means that the device can be charged back to 100% in just over an hour.

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Poco X3 is the one to buy if your budget isn't bigger than its price. The screen is good but not great, and the ghosting when scrolling might put you off. There are software bugs, as has unfortunately become traditional for MIUI, especially MIUI on anything but the numbered Mi series of flagships. The software updates are few and far between, which means that you'll have to live with a given set of bugs for at least a few months.
Pros
- Very good performance
- Good battery life
- Very good cameras
Cons
- No 5G
- No IP rating

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Poco X3 is the first smartphone that uses the Snapdragon 732G. The viewing angle stability of the IPS display is very good. While the built-in storage is UFS 2.1, the access speeds in our test point to the storage as a rather slow representative of the UFS-2.0 standard.
Pros
- Bright 120-Hz display
- Fast SoC
- Fast Wi-Fi
- Good battery life
Cons
- No wireless charging
- No IP certification

Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC starts from a mere £199 in the UK, which gets you 64GB of storage. The version with 128GB storage is £249, but since you can buy a microSD card for less than that, it probably makes sense to stick with the 64GB model. The camera is undeniably imperfect, but for the most part better than it has any right to be for this price. The big battery makes it bulky, I don't love the aesthetic and my taste in MIUI 12 leaves to be desired.
Pros
- Beautiful 90Hz display
- Great build quality
- Great battery life
Cons
- MIUI 12 is clunky
- No wireless charging

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC has a 5160mAh battery, just a mite bigger than the 5040mAh found in its sibling, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. This phone is also a good vehicle for MIUI 12, the latest version of Xiaomi's Android interface. It's a pleasant update that makes MIUI as good as any interface out there. Fairly comprehensive customization is on tap.
Pros
- Gorgeous 120Hz display
- Great stereo speakers
- Good battery life
Cons
- No IP rating
- No wireless charging

Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 runs on the Poco X3 NFC. While it isn’t my favourite custom Android 10 skin, it's perfectly pleasant to use day to day. Not free from bloatware, with an assortment of Xiaomi apps clogging up the homescreen. Night mode is included, but without OIS these shots are rather crudely brightened affairs.
Pros
- Fantastic 120Hz display
- Good battery life
- Decent performance
Cons
- No headphone jack
- No wireless charging
