The TR8620 prints crisp, well-shaped, and highly legible everyday serif and sans-serif fonts. Monochrome pages will cost you a brutal 7 cents per page, and color pages will run around 12.3 cents. The Brother MFC-J995DW and the HP 9015 can also be significantly cheaper to use.
Pros
  • Excellent print quality
  • High-quality photos and graphics
  • Low running costs
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • High cost per page

The Canon PIXMA TR8620 is a great printer for family use. It prints excellent-looking photos with good detail and has a flatbed scanner. The accuracy of colors is mediocre, although it should still be fine for casual use. The printing speed is poor, with a bad page yield, and it's a bit slow to print the first page.
Pros
  • Great overall cost-per-print
  • Fully automatic document feeder
  • Excellent connectivity options
Cons
  • Poor black page yield
  • Slow to print the first page
  • Disappointing color accuracy
