Product Overview
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel (Pro in China) is a 5G-enabled flagship gaming phone. It’s created specifically for on-the-go gamers passionate about high performance and who prefer the comfort and convenience of playing entirely in horizontal mode.
Designed from the ground up for gamers, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel plays like a mobile gaming console with impressive virtual tools, gaming capabilities, and an optimized battery lasting up to a full day of average phone usage.
Lenovo is amongst the first to feature the next-level, flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G Mobile Platform. Up to 16GB LPDDR5 high capacity RAM and ample storage up to 512GB UFS 3.1 are available. The blur-free 6.65-inch Full HD (2340 x 1080) AMOLED glass touchscreen display boasts a 144Hz refresh rate. The Legion Phone Duel also enjoys 240Hz touch sampling rate.
By inventing advanced methods to better dissipate heat with dual liquid-cooling and copper tubes, plus moving the dual 2500mAh batteries off to the sides where gamers’ hands would rest, Lenovo made the handset easier to hold while also extending gameplay without the fear of overheating. Full 90W Turbo Power Charging takes both charging cords (from center and side ports) to power up both batteries for a combined total of 5000mAh.
The Legion Phone Duel also features programmable RGB lighting effects for Lenovo Legion’s recognizable "Y" icon and the back of its pop-up selfie camera.

Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)Lenovo's Legion Phone Duel is a good gaming smartphone that can be used very smoothly thanks to its 144 Hz display. The screen's resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels is usual, but 4K gaming is not possible. The rear camera offers two lenses: The main camera with 64 megapixels and a wide-angle lens.
Pros
- 144 Hz display
- Fast processor
- Good battery life
Cons
- Mediocre cameras
- No dual-battery charger

Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel runs Android 10 with Lenovo's LegionOS laid over the top. This is the debut of LegionOS but users might find it familiar – it's actually very similar to stock Android, which Lenovo uses in Motorola phones. It feels like the Legion Phone was designed to be used primarily in landscape mode, to match the format of most of the games you'll be playing. We were fairly impressed with the phone's battery life, both when in everyday use and when gaming.
Pros
- Super-fast charging
- Good battery life
- Good gaming software
Cons
- Battery life could be better
- Tething issues with LegionOS

Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel is an excellent gaming phone. It has a gorgeous 144Hz display and a super-lengthy battery life. You get unique game-ready features such as the vibrating shoulder keys and the pop-up camera. But there are too many compromises from the unwieldy design to prevent you from pining for a more traditional smartphone jack.
Pros
- Gorgeous 144Hz display
- Fantastic battery life
Cons
- Underwhelming camera
