pcmag[1]

Sentiment Score 86%
Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
The G502 Lightspeed employs Logitech's new signature Wi-Fi wireless technology. Even when pushing the sensor to its maximum 16,000 DPI at a 1,000Hz polling rate, I didn't experience a single reporting issue. At about $150, plus an extra $100 for the PowerPlay pad, the full experience pushes the upper limit of what you can spend on a gaming mouse.

Pros
  • Fantastic wireless performance
  • PowerPlay charging pad doubles as a receiver
  • Easy to use configuration software
Cons
  • No wireless charging pad
  • No onboard profiles

rtings[2]

Sentiment Score 65%
Reviewers from rtings have found the following***:
The Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless is an excellent mouse for the office. It has a lot of programmable inputs, feels very well-built, and most importantly, is comfortable to use for long periods. It's wireless, so you don't have to worry about the clutter of a cable, and you can easily store its receiver inside the mouse.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Feels very well-built
  • Lots of programmable inputs
  • Comfortable to use for long periods
  • Very low click latency
Cons
  • Not very light for a gaming mouse
  • No dedicated MMO design

rtings[3]

Sentiment Score 23%
Reviewers from rtings have found the following***:
The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum is good for office use. It feels well-built and has a comfortable right-handed shape with a thumb rest and rubberized grips. Unlike most gaming mice, it also has a scroll wheel that unlocks for free scrolling and has L/R tilt buttons. Unfortunately, it's heavy, its cable isn't very flexible, and the mouse feet don't glide well directly on desks.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Feels well-built
  • Lots of programmable buttons and companion software
  • Comfortable right-handed shape with a thumb rest and rubberized grips
  • Flexible cable and mouse feet are fairly inconsistent and undershoots during fast cursor movements
Cons
  • Not as many buttons as dedicated MMO mice
  • Not very portable

tomsguide[4]

Sentiment Score 85%
Reviewers from tomsguide have found the following***:
Like the wired G502, the G502 Lightspeed has a removable panel where you can add metallic weights. The mouse runs on the Logitech G Hub software, which lets users customize DPI (100-16,000) Logitech estimates that the mouse can go up to 48 hours between charges.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Excellent wireless performance
  • PowerPlay included
Cons
  • No wireless charging

tomshardware[5]

Sentiment Score 80%
Reviewers from tomshardware have found the following***:
The Logitech G502 Lightspeed is a right-handed gaming mouse with gaming trappings. There's still a rubberized, U-shaped rest for your thumb, a comfortable rounded hump and elongated buttons. The HERO 16K sensor, 100 - 16,000 DPI sensitivity options and 1,000 Hz polling rates provide plenty of options for gamers.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Comfortable, ergonomic design
  • Works with Logitech's Powerplay wireless charging
  • Long battery life
Cons
  • Can’t use some weights

trustedreviews[6]

Sentiment Score 91%
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found the following***:
The G502 runs Logitech’s intuitive G HUB software, giving you complete control over how you wish to use your peripherals. It works on pretty much any surface, from glass to wood to a typical mouse mat, which is a bonus, given that some mice refuse to work on glass whatsoever. Its battery life is highly commendable, offering a stellar 60 hours without any lighting, or 48 hours with it on full blast. One of the buttons on the G502 allows you to change the scrolling setting – the default involves a typical ratchet-driven scroll.

Pros
  • Fantastic battery life
  • Comfortable to use
  • Wireless charging
Cons
  • Lack of RGB lighting

Wonderful overall
I had the G900 before and upgraded to the G502, because I don't really like the symmetric design of the G900. Everything is great except the scrolling wheel feels flimsy, and I don't know if the rubber finish will last.
