Product Overview
Wharfedale Elysian 2 is 3-way bookshelf loudspeaker that share many features with the floorstanding Elysian 4.
As the company's flagship bookshelf speaker, the Elysian 2 features an AMT tweeter: unlike conventional domes, the AMT unit is more efficient and accurate. The midrange driver in the Elysian 2 is made of woven glass fiber matrix cone that is lighter and stronger, reproducing voices and instruments with high degree of realism. Elysian 2's 220mm bass driver is able to delve into the lower frequencies without distortion.
The Elysian-series features a sophisticated crossover network that ensures seamless integration between the drivers, while the cabinets are designed not only to reflect the quality of the loudspeakers but also to enhance the acoustic output of the drivers.
Much of the technology featured in the Elysian 2 can be found in the EVO4 series that Wharfedale launched four months prior at the end of 2019.
